"Adamawa Woman Freed After 8-Month Prison Term for Shirt Theft"

 Zuwaira Yusuf, a middle-aged woman from Adamawa State, has been released from prison after an 8-month incarceration for the theft of a shirt and cooler. 

Zuwaira, a divorcée, had initially been sentenced to a 2-year imprisonment for this offense and had been serving her sentence at the Hong Correctional Center. 

Her conviction and incarceration stemmed from a trial in the Chief Magistrate Court of Gombi LGA, where she was found guilty of theft. 

However, she has now regained her freedom, thanks to the efforts of the Adamawa State Jail Delivery Committee (JDC), led by Chief Judge Hon.

 Justice Hapsat Abdulrahaman, who secured her release during their visit to the correctional center.
