THE VOICE
Whose voice occupy your child's mind?
Each one of us follow a voice. Nobody act just like that without following a voice whether good or evil.
Nothing just happened, it all started with a single voice people heard. If you are a Christian you know the story of Adam and Eve.
God commanded them not to eat the fruit but Eve decided to left the voice of God and followed another voice to disobeyed.
If you're struggling with your children in one way or the other, know that there is a voice that has taken your voice in their minds and your voice sounds like a stranger.
Jesus said my sheep hear my voice and they follow me.
When that child stop following your instructions means he or she is no longer your child, another shepherd have taken them away from you.
I ask again "Whose voice occupy your child's mind?" Parenting is all about influence you can be a father or mother and yet not a parent because you don't have a voice in their lives.
Who or whatever have a voice in their lives parents them, it can be a teacher, musician, footballer, cartoon, friends or video game etc.
To know what to say to children you must first learn listen to them. You must become a child to understand a child.
Their world is different from your world, go to their world and stay there for some times.
To know their world and know what to say; read the books they're reading, listen to the music they're listening, watch the cartoon they're watching, play the video games they're playing.
When you start doing this, you will gradually remove the voice that does not belong to you in their lives and replace it with yours then you will have your children back.
Whatever price you have to pay to make your children life better is worth it.
